Efstathios A. Zirganos was born in Athens in 1968, he completed his studies at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1991 and subsequently attended a postgraduate course of studies at the 2nd Section of Private Law of the Athens Law School, in the fields of Commercial and Labour Law, Private International Law, Social Security Law and Civil Procedure.
He is a Lawyer at the Supreme Court (Areios Pagos) since 2011 and a member of the Athens Bar Association since 1993.
He advises and advocates in cases, mainly, in Civil and Commercial Law, Private Insurance and Reinsurance Law, Contract Law, with emphasis on the drafting of Private Law contracts, Company Law, Personal Data Protection Law, Foreclosure, Lease Disputes, Business Claims Litigation, etc.
He has dealt with a wide range of cases, often of a complex and multifaceted nature, while he has considerable experience in dispute resolution, both in and out of court, he has been a member of an arbitration tribunal, and has practiced as a practicing attorney advocating for natural and legal persons in courts of all jurisdictions and levels throughout Greece.
Through his many years of work, he has gained considerable experience, particularly in the field of private insurance and insurance companies, given that, from 1994 until today, he has served as legal advisor and director of the legal sectors of various Greek and foreign insurance companies, while he has been a member of the Management Committee of the Firm of International Insurance.
Today, in addition to his practice as a practicing attorney, he is legal counsel to limited liability insurance agency companies, commercial companies, insurance brokerage firms, roadside assistance companies and auditing firms.
In recent years, in addition to other services, he also provides services of Data protection Officer (D.P.O.) and Compliance Officerto companies representing foreign insurance companies, insurance brokerage companies and other commercial enterprises.
He has an excellent command of the English language (First Certificate in English and Certificate of Proficiency in English, University of Cambridge), while he has attended and continues to attend numerous seminars, training courses and workshops and has participated in conferences in Greece and abroad in order to maintain high scientific competence
